Meet Luca! He's a fun, active little boy with a heart of gold. He was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma stage 3 in June 2021 at Morristown. Luca's journey initially wasn't easy, but he's proven to be a warrior. After 10 months of chemotherapy and over 20 sessions of radiation, Luca is now off treatment and in remission. Although he received treatment at Memorial Sloan in NYC, The Valerie Fund and the Child Life Specialist at Morristown were our family's first support systems. They provided daily bedside check-ins, musical visits, toys, massages for Luca and mom, and more. Luca still has many post-chemo appointments at Morristown, and we're incredibly grateful for their wisdom and knowledge. Our family and friends are walking in Luca's honor and to honor all the children battling this horrible disease. We aim to raise money to support The Valerie Fund and all the good work they do for cancer families.
