"I started the Eric Muldberg Sports-A-Thon 3 years ago so that everyone in our community would always remember my friend Eric"

The Valerie Fund is an ideal organization for school community service programs. Since so many Valerie Fund patients are school age, students raising money for us feel a connection which enhances their community service experience. Some of the ways in which schools can support The Valerie Fund include:
- Students can sell bears, the proceeds of which benefit TVF. Available wearing a sweatshirt or dressed as a cheerleader or varsity athlete, these adorable bears can be personalized with your school's name and colors. Students can also sell three-color tie dyed wristlets imprinted with "The Valerie Fund." Both these activities are meaningful community service projects for your school and great fundraisers for our kids.
- Hold a toy drive or a walk-a-thon
- Collect donations at school events.
