NEVER GIVE UP
Scotty was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in January 2009. After successful surgery to remove the tumor, Scotty endured 18 months of aggressive radiation and chemotherapy. Scotty with his mother, Momma D(Barbara)by his side 24/7, successfully completed treatment May 2010. Scotty and his family have been an inspiration to all who know them. His (their) love and devotion for one another brought them to a successful end of treatment, with a bright future ahead for all. Scotty will never forget or take for granted all who supported him and his family, especially the The Valerie Center. Therefore, he and his family will continue to be a vital part of The Valerie Center family. With that said, Scotty and his family now ask all their family and friends to join them in "paying it forward" by supporting the Valerie Fund Walkathon on Saturday, June 9, 2012, with a donation and if possible their attendance at the event.
