YOUR TRIBUTE GIFT IS A SPECIAL WAY TO: Celebrate. Honor. Remember.
A tribute gift to The Valerie Fund is a meaningful way to acknowledge a special day, event or achievement, as well as to memorialize a special person. We will send out a beautiful card to let your special someone know you are thinking of them.
MANY EMPLOYERS OFFER MATCHING GIFTS to your charitable donation—often dollar for dollar! Make your gift to the Annual Hope & Healing Campaign or to one of The Valerie Fund Events and ask your Benefits Manager if your gift qualifies to learn how you can leverage your gift to work even harder for The Valerie Fund kids.
SPECIFIC PROGRAM FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES are available. Click here for some examples. Please call Lori Abrams, Director of Development, to learn more.
CHARITABLE GIFTS FROM YOUR IRA can be made as soon as you reach age 70½. IRA charitable rollovers qualify as the minimum distributions you are required to take from your retirement plan each year under the Pension Protection Act. You can make direct transfers of up to $100,000 per year to the charity of your choice without counting the transfers as income. Transfers must come from your IRA directly to charity. If you have retirement assets in a 401(k), 403(b) etc., you must first roll those funds into an IRA. You can then direct the IRA provider to transfer the funds directly to The Valerie Fund. (Just give us a call and we'll be happy to provide the transfer info.)
PLANNED GIFTS – Consider naming The Valerie Fund as a beneficiary of your estate. Click here to learn more.
