Celerate the life you were given!

Team Sierra Spriggs celebrates the life of Sierra Spriggs, the team's captain and a three time childhood leukemia survivor, and everyone who has helped her since her diagnosis at the age of five in 1998. After a relapse at age nine and a second relapse at the age of sixteen, Sierra is a healthy 30 year old graduate of the Columbia School of Social Work with a Master's Degree in Social work! One of her main goal since her second relapse in 2010 was to embrace the life she was given and to tell her story to anyone who will listen to inspire people to enjoy the life they were given. Life doesn't always go as plan but that is the whole point. Celebrate Life with all the good, bad, and everything in between.

The Valerie Fund has been apart of my family since I was five and they have watched me grow over the years. They have also been a place of support, understanding, and knowledge. I could not imagine myself without the support of this place.
