Team Nicole has been a proud supporter of The Valerie Fund since 2011 when Nicole was diagnosed with APML leukemia just before her 15th birthday. Thanks to the incredible support of The Valerie Fund and the team at Morristown, Nicole has been in remission and off treatment for over 5 years and is now attending graduate school at Columbia University's Teachers College.

Because of your generosity, and the generosity of those before you, The Valerie Fund provided me the support system necessary needed to take on cancer and the challenges that follow. I could not have asked for better team of professionals to make a challenging time in my life more bearable and uplifting. I am so grateful for all of my doctors, nurses, social workers, educational liaisons, psychologists, and specialized professionals who were able to join forces and give me the treatment I needed not only to fight cancer but to steer me in the direction of living a health-filled life.

As a team, we have raised over $35,000 within the past 6 years to support this incredible organization in TVF's annual walk in Verona, NJ. Now, as a team, we will be making our presence known in Long Branch at this year's Run and Walk on October 13th!
